No need to feel behind

Updated: Feb 2

Tis the season to feel behind.

Behind with Christmas gift buying.

Behind with Christmas cards.

Behind with your Elf on the Shelf.

Behind preparing your home.

Or all the end of the year assessments have you feeling behind in life.

Behind professionally.

Behind on finding love.

Behind with the amount you have saved or invested.

Behind in your business growth.

But, life isn't a race.

And, there is no finish line.

So, here's an idea:

When you feel behind ask yourself a few questions.

  1. "Do I even want to accomplish whatever I think I am behind in?"

  2. "Whose definition of "behind" am I using?"

  3. "Do I really agree with this definition?"

  4. "What if this were not a problem?"

  5. "How do I want to think about this?"

And, really hear your answers.

You may decide to recalibrate.

You may decide to shift your expectations.

You may decide to up your game.

You may decide to seek support.

You may decide to increase your focus.

You may decide to scrap the project.

What ever you decide to do is the best choice for you when you are making the decision from a place of honesty, authenticity, and intention. Not from a place of judgement, comparison or someone else's shoulds.

Release yourself of the feeling of behind and watch what happens!

I anticipate a bit of soaring and a lot of relief!
